Powell 4A Outfitters is located in northwestern Colorado. Our ranch boasts over 15,000 private acres. We have a wide variety of terrain to accommodate your level of fitness and hunting preferences. Our hunting area is located in the heart of Colorado's famous mule deer and elk hunting region and more than 60 miles from the nearest town.

We specialize in mule deer and elk hunting for archery, muzzle loader, and rifle hunters. For archery hunters there are tree stand opportunities over watering holes and well used wallows.

Hunting success has been very high in the past. We are here to help you get your trophy mule deer or elk of a lifetime.

All guided trips include lodging, and three meals a day and transportation to and from the Grand Junction Airport.

Non guided hunts include lodging only.

While your pursuit for your trophy elk or deer is our top priority, we insure that you will have a relaxing stay in our lodge. The elevation of the lodge is over 11,000 feet. The views from here are astonishing.
